I wanted to follow up with you and let you know how pleased I was with the quartet that played at my garden wedding last weekend in Alexandria. They were all exceptional musicians and our guests really appreciated all of the beautiful music that was played prior, during and after the ceremony. The two songs that they accompanied my brother-in-law on (The Prayer and Exodus) were simply moving and emotional for all. My brother-in-law, who is a professional opera singer and who has sung in many venues around the world, was most impressed with the quartet. Bravo! I spoke briefly with Jose (thought it was you) and told him that I wanted to tip the four of them, but would work through you to do so. Please advise how I would do so. String Poets set the tone for the entire wedding with their beautiful music and tone. I am a professional musician and I was very particular with the music for my son's wedding. Radhi Santos was excellent to work with and impressed my son's fiance with the time that he spent with her planning songs for the ceremony. I would highly recommend String Poets to anyone. The group is made up of professional musicians who perform as principals with major area orchestras. They are highly trained and take pride in their work. Hi Radhi, I am writing to let you what an amazing addition you and your string quartet were to the wedding. I only wish I could have been more appreciative on Sunday and that I could have talked with you at length, but alas, I was quite caught up in my wedding. When I first heard you playing I was getting ready in the bridal quarters and, while I am proud to say that I did not cry at all during my wedding, I almost became a faucet when I first heard you play! It was so beautiful! When I heard you play the very first notes, it was like my wedding was starting at that very moment and the whole day was brought to life. It was at that moment that it all began, as all my bridesmaids and flower girls prepared for the processional and scampered around the room to the lovely music that you played. All of my guests have repeated the sentiments to me that you added a beautiful touch to the event. I will recommend you for future weddings or any lovely event where your playing would be appropriate. You are a very talented man for having put together such an amazing group, but even more importantly, you espouse a love and happiness that transcends your music. The extra effort that you made to specialize the songs was more than many others would have done for me! Many thanks to the String Poets for playing at our wedding. The music played a very important part in our wedding, as you know, and you performed the pieces just as I wanted them to be played! At one point I was swaying to the music(I think it was Vocalise) and my husband even noticed me doing it, just in the moment and enjoying everything about the day. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you in person! I was running a bit late from the hairdresser and I just had to get upstairs and get dressed and be ready in 30 min. I just got back from my honeymoon and have been hearing rave reviews about the wedding. Everyone had such a great time!!! I'm sorry I was unable to speak with you throughout the crazy night, but I had sooooo much fun. Everyone agreed that the music was beautifully performed, and you were beyond amazing dealing with the hectic schedule, making the location changes, and composing Doug and I such a special first dance on short notice. That song was absolutely perfect; I wish somebody recorded it so I could listen to it over and over! Anyway, I was never able to formally thank you for all the work that you did. It was great having someone so professional and so talented that I didn't need to think about the string quartet all day/night... I just enjoyed the music! Radhi, I cannot thank you and your colleagues enough for the beautiful music at Sarah's wedding. When I had my final review with the owner, Mark Lynch, I urged him to add the String Poets to their list of preferred vendors -- so I hope he does follow through. I couldn't have been more pleased. These guys sounded just perfect! They played a non-traditional piece for me as I walked down the aisle - Dvorak's Humoresque No.7 as well as other pieces we selected for the reception. They are finely skilled musicians and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a string trio (they also have a string quartet) for their event.

"String Poets are talented and generous. Our memorial service at Wolftrap was a challenge as it included a classical set, a dove release and several secular pieces interspersed within a program. Extraordinary musicians and professionals, the String poets hit every challenging entry, page turn and pause. As a modest singer, I would recommend String Poets to enhance any gig. They make you sound like a star. Their accompaniment to Josh Groban piece ("To Where You Are") was straight from heaven
